Resting order-book size per price level over time, behind the candles. Bright bands held; faded ones were pulled. Time-averaged from about 20 book levels a side; farther levels come from Hyperliquid’s coarser book.

How it reads

Four layers. One chart. No guessing what you’re looking at.

01 / 05

Liquidity: the orders waiting.

The heatmap sits behind the candles. Each row is resting size at that price, over time. Bright bands are walls that held. Faded ones were pulled.

log scale√ depth profile
02 / 05

Whales: who crossed the spread.

One outlined circle per taker trade ≥ $100k, sized by notional. Green took the offer, red hit the bid. Click one on the chart for size, fills and wallet.

≥ $100k BTCtaker sidewallet
03 / 05

Liquidations: who was forced out.

▲ under a bar means longs were liquidated. ▼ over a bar means shorts were. Totals carry ≥ because Binance reports at most one per second.

BinanceBybit≥ floor
04 / 05

Levels: the session map.

Prior-day high and low, the open and VWAP, drawn solid because they’re measured. Modeled dealer levels, when they arrive, are dashed and marked ≈. Your alerts are dotted orchid.

solid = measureddashed = modeled
05 / 05

Together, one glance.

Price against the nearest bright band, and what printed there. That’s the read. Everything else stays quiet until it matters.

Honest by construction

Partial data looks partial.

Feeds get blocked, recorders miss minutes, history takes time to build. Those are normal states, so the chart shows them plainly instead of hiding them.

Sample

Not recorded

When the recorder missed a stretch, the chart hatches it and says when. Nothing gets interpolated.

Blocked here

Binance refuses some regions. The layer says “blocked here” and shows what history still covers, instead of a zero.

On TradingView

Scripts for the chart you already use.

Strategy backtests are hypothetical and carry the CFTC Rule 4.41 statement on every script page. No script is a signal service.

  • Session Map on TradingView (opens in a new tab)

The futures session skeleton: prior day, overnight range, initial balance, opening range and an anchored VWAP — one definition of each, drawn the same way on every chart.

    Indicator · freelive
  • Regime Compass on TradingView (opens in a new tab)

One number for whether the session is expanding or pinning, from volatility rank, path efficiency and return persistence. Price-derived context — not dealer gamma, and not a signal.

    Indicator · freelive
  • Positioning Bridge

Renders the day's dealer-positioning map — gamma flip, call and put walls, high-volume level — on the futures you actually trade, with a live index-to-futures basis. Pine cannot read an options chain: this draws the levels Markov publishes, modelled from end-of-day open interest.

    Indicator · $39/mosoon
  • Opening Range on TradingView (opens in a new tab)

The opening-range breakout run properly: the same range Session Map draws, a regime gate, width filters that refuse the days the trade doesn't belong on, and account guardrails built to stand down before your configured limits.

Strategy · Free during early accesslive
  • Trend Continuation on TradingView (opens in a new tab)

Buys the pullback while the regime engine reads expansion, with higher-timeframe agreement, an ATR trail, and the same guardrail layer. Stands down entirely when the day turns to pinning.

Strategy · Free during early accesslive
  • VWAP Fade

The mirror image: fades the stretch back to session VWAP, and only while the regime reads compression. Same engine as Trend Continuation, opposite half of the day.

Principles

We sell the map, not a prophecy.

  • 01

    Calibrated, not confident.

When data is thin, delayed or modeled, the interface says so, instead of inventing a number you’d trade on.

  • 02

    Tools, not advice.

Markov never tells you to buy or sell. Every surface is context for your own decision.

  • 03

    Your record is the moat.

The value should compound in your own trades, rules and outcomes, not in a model anyone can rent.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What’s live today?

Free, with no account: the chart (resting liquidity, whale prints, liquidations, levels and open interest), liquidations and the market heatmap; derivatives opens on Pro; plus four scripts on TradingView. Paid plans and the ES/NQ positioning engine are not live yet; the plans mark what is live, rolling out or planned.

Is this financial advice?

No. Markov provides research tools and education, not financial, investment, or trading advice. Trading futures and crypto derivatives carries a substantial risk of loss. Nothing on Markov tells you to buy or sell, and nothing is tailored to your situation.

Where does the data come from?

Public exchange feeds, read from your browser: Hyperliquid for candles, the order book, trades, funding and open interest; Binance for live liquidations, funding and open interest; CoinGecko and Frankfurter for the heatmap. Markov’s own collector records the order book, whale prints and liquidations (from Bybit: Binance refuses the collector’s servers), so a chart opens with history behind it.

Every panel names its source and how fresh it is. Binance refuses some regions, including the US; where it does, the tools say so instead of showing an empty chart. The methodology lists each source and what is modeled.

What does it cost?

The tools are free and need no account. Planned launch pricing: Pro at $39/mo, with a $29/mo founding price locked while you stay subscribed, and Elite at $99/mo once ES/NQ data is licensed. Nothing is for sale yet; see the plans.

How far back does the data go?

Candles come with Hyperliquid’s own history. The free chart opens with up to 8 hours of order-book liquidity, whale prints and liquidations recorded by Markov’s collector. Where the recorder has a gap, the chart hatches it; where the collector doesn’t answer, those layers build live from the moment you open the chart, and a dashed line marks where live data starts.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the chart and it works. An account keeps your layouts, alerts and drawings in step across devices. To hear when paid plans and the positioning engine open, leave your email below.
